National Folk Festival Applications

This page is provided as a guide and should NOT be your starting point for applying to participate in the National Folk Festival. Before starting an application please go to our main website at www.folkfestival.org.au , click on the APPLY menu and read the appropriate introductory material.

Applications:

The National Folk Festival has a number of categories of applications which are open at different times during the year.

Media Accreditation applications are now OPEN. Applications will close when positions have been filled.

Volunteer applications are now OPEN. Applications will close when all teams have been filled.

Folk Fellowship applications are currently closed. They will open for the 2019 Festival on the 29th March 2018 (First day of the 2018 Festival).

Performer applications are currently closed. They will open for the 2019 Festival around the 1st June 2018.

Stalls applications are currently closed. They will open for the 2019 Festival around the 1st August 2018.

Instrument Maker applications are currently closed. They will open for the 2019 Festival around the 1st September 2018.

Site Induction Training:

Contractors, successful Stalls Applicants and successful Instrument Makers and their staff are all required to complete a site induction course before they will be allowed onsite. You will be notified when the appropriate courses are available.

Volunteers are all required to complete a site induction course before they will be allowed onsite. When applications are open this is normally undertaken immediately on completion of the application form. If the site induction course was not completed you may login and complete the course. You will require the login information sent in your registration email.
